Southern Resident Killer Whale Management Measures Released

The 2024 and 2025 measures to protect the SRKW have been released. These measures include speed restricted zones, interim sanctuary zones, voluntary slowdowns, salmon fishery closures, and staying 400m away from KELȽOLEMEĆEN. Remember to Be Whale Wise when you’re out on the water, follow whale-safe boating practices, and get informed about the regulations and measures in place to protect the SRKW. Together, we can try to have a positive impact on our relatives of the deep.
