Our program supports our specific needs as WSÁNEĆ Marine Guardians by increasing WSÁNEĆ presence in the Salish Sea.
Our work ensures the WSÁNEĆ Leadership Council has access to information to advocate for our relatives of the deep, the KELLOLEMEĆEN. Our Southern Resident Killer Whale Monitoring Program acts as a knowledge hub for any First Nations group that may not have its own monitoring program.
Our annual reports provide detailed information gathered by our QENTOL, YEN / WSÁNEĆ Marine Guardians team and cover our monitoring from November 2022 - March 2023, April 2023 to March 2024, and our latest report covers the 2024 annual year.
Through work with our dedicated partners, we have provided data, and collaborated to publish important analyses and reports regarding acoustic impacts to SRKW critical habitat.
